【摘要】:ThisInternationalStandardspecifiestestmethodsfordeterminingthestability,strengthanddurabilityofofficeworkchairs.Guidanceisgivenonthechoiceofforces,cycles,etc.,forthesetests.Thetestsaredesignedtobeappliedtoanarticleoffurniturethatisfullyassembledandreadyforuse.Thedimensionsinthetestsareapplicabletoofficeworkchairsintendedforadultpersons.Thetestsconsistoftheapplication,tovariouspartsoftheitem,offorcessimulatingnormalfunctionaluse,aswellasmisusethatcanreasonablybeexpectedtooccur.Thetestsaredesignedtoevaluatepropertieswithoutregardtomaterials,design/constructionormanufacturingprocesses.Thetestresultsarevalidonlyforthearticletested.Whenthetestresultsareintendedtobeappliedtoothersimilararticles,itisimportantthatthetestspecimenberepresentativeoftheproductionmodel.TestscarriedoutaccordingtothisInternationalStandardareintendedtodemonstratetheabilityoftheitemtogivesatisfactoryserviceinitsintendedenvironment.Thetestshavebeendevelopedforunits/componentsthathavenotbeeninuse.However,whenproperlyjustified,theycanbeusedforfaultinvestigation.Dataaregivenforthedesignofseat-loadingpads(AnnexB)andforthedesignofstability-loadingpad(AnnexC).ThisInternationalStandarddoesnotgiveanyproductrequirements.Thesecanbespecifiedinarequirementsdocument.Ifthisisnotavailable,possibleforcesandcyclesaresuggestedinAnnexA(informative).Theseforcesandcyclescanbeusedforadultsregardlessoftheirweightandnumberofworkinghours.ThisInternationalStandarddoesnotspecifytypeapprovaltestsforchaircomponents.Assessmentofageinganddegradationisnotincluded.Thetestsarenotintendedtoassessthedurabilityofupholstery,i.e.fillingmaterialsandcovers.
